The Town of South Hadley has been awarded a $4,841,312 state grant towards the cost of constructing a new South Hadley Public Library. The goal is for a new library to be built overlooking the Connecticut River, Holyoke Dam, and historic South Hadley Canal at the corner of Main & Canal Streets. We hope you find the following information resources helpful and encourage you to contact the Library Director Joseph Rodio with any questions or comments.

Building Program

The South Hadley Public Library Building Program lays the foundation for the areas that will be in the new library.

The Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners is the awarding agency for the Public Library Construction program.

Master Plan

The Town of South Hadley’s Master Plan includes many goals and objectives related to the new library and its location as a cornerstone of redevelopment in South Hadley Falls.
