Adult Fiction and Non-Fiction
The library has about 50,000 volumes and the collection is built around the interests of the community and a wide variety of review sources. Almost all of our books are searchable in our catalog. If you have any difficulty locating a book, please see the library staff for assistance. If there is a book that you do not find on the shelf or in our collection, please ask about ILL and hold services.

Books on Tape (and now also on CD!)
The Library has available for circulation a wide variety of books on tape and CD. You can search the catalog for audio books. Once you search by title, author, keyword, or subject, use the blue Limit This Search button or the Modify Search button to restrict results by material type. Choose either Spoken (Tape) or Spoken (CD) to sort results and bring back only audio books. Confused? Ask the reference librarian.

CD-ROMS
CD-ROMS are available for circulation. In this collection, you will find games and educational software for all age groups. CD-ROMS circulate for three weeks. View a chronological listing of CD-ROMS in the library. If you would rather view CD-ROMS about a subject or with a favorite character, use the new keyword search. You can limit results by Material Type to SOFTWARE and retrieve only CD-ROM results.

Large Print Books
Large print fiction and non-fiction titles are located on the shelves behind new fiction titles. These items can be searched in the catalog using the search limit of Large Print once you have your initial search results.

Music CDs
The Library maintains a large collection of music CD's which are arranged by musical category and artist. To search for a favorite band, composer, or performer, use the author search.

New Fiction and Non-Fiction
All new books purchased within the last year are placed on the shelves to the left of the circulation desk. If the book you were looking for is out, you can reserve it.

Newspapers
Daily newspapers do not circulate, but are available in the lounge area under the main window. Past issues are kept for approximately one month. To search for articles that appeared in the Republican, use the database Newsbank to retrieve and print articles.

Paperback Fiction
Paperbacks are now located in the large meeting room in the back right corner and can be distinguished by the blue author labels on the spine of the book.

Videocassettes (New Video List)
Videocassettes are organized by film classification and title. Please refer to the classification key located on the wall by the video cases to determine which sections are shelved in a particular area. Use the catalog to search for movies by title, favorite actor, or subject.

DVDs
The loan period and fine schedule is the same as for VHS. The Recent DVD Acquisitions List offers the newest titles available for loan.
