A Message from the President of the South Hadley Friends of the Library
Welcome and thank you for visiting the
Friends of the Library page on the South Hadley Public Library website.
If you are a member – Thank you for your generous support! If you
haven’t yet signed up, please do! Also please consider a gift membership for
the book lovers in your life.
We’d love to have you all as Friends!
The Friends of the South Hadley Public
Library is an active organization of great people who love our library.
All our efforts benefit the library in the form of underwriting
programming and materials. Some
of our works: sponsoring author talks, purchasing Museum Passes for use by
library patrons, funding for the Children’s Summer Reading Program.
Yearly membership dues and our annual raffle are the
main sources of funding that help us carry out the work of the Friends.
We also have book and bake sales during the Canal Village Potpourri
in the spring and Columbus Day in the fall.
And for the past 2 years we have held a Scholastic Book Fair in
August with great success.
Supporting our library is a privilege. And
more than ever during these uncertain financial times, it is a
responsibility to keep our library a vital and strong resource for our
community.
